The Carrara marble quarries tour is perfect if you’d like to run away from the chaos of the cities and visit one of the most interesting places in the area; come with us on this adventure to see how one of the most famous marbles worldwide has and still is extracted since the Roman times. We will go in the heart of the quarries where the views are spectacular and discover the fascinating techniques of marble extracting.
Then off to Colonnata, a tiny mountain village famous for the Lardo, a local delicacy, where we will enjoy a delicious homemade meal.
