Lucca Historical Villas Tour
During this tour you will discover the villas which adorn the hills of Lucca are renowned for their historical and artistic beauty, and are a unique architectural and botanical heritage. There are more than 300, from the XIV cent hunting lodges to the grand constructions of the XVI cent. So come and discover what mysteries and beauties these buildings and their gardens ceil and protect within them.
We will visit the most famous one called Villa Reale, that dates back to the IXth century and once the residence of Elisa Buonaparte, Naopleon’s sister. Where it is possible to wonder round it’s magnificent gardens/park, filled with hidden treasures. Then we will go onto Villa Torrigiani, one of the most luxurious of the area, dating back to the XVIth century. We will be able to visit it’s decorative gardens and it’s fascinating interiors.
